How wonderful man is - taking just a minute glob of chemicals he has been able to create a new windpipe for a needy woman, Claudia Castillo.
Part of a windpipe had been taken from the dead body of a 51 year old woman, it was washed to remove all her own cells. At the same time stem cells were taken from Ms Castillo's own bone marrow and grown to produce about six million cartilage cells, which were grown on the scaffold that was the part of the windpipe taken from the dead woman and had been grafted into Ms Castillo.
In a short space of time, the long term bedridden and breathing afflicted Ms Castillo was able to breath normally and resume a normal life.
I repeat, how wonderful man is! This is the herald of many body part creations we will see in coming years.
Contrast this wonder of man with the stumbling, bumbling, time consuming, frustration, death, disease and mutation riddled manner used by the 'god' of the bible many Theistic Evolutionists of the the Sydney Anglican Diocese present to the world as the creator of life.
What a sham! Who in their right mind could believe in such a god when man will able to do far better in shorter time. Nothing will be beyond man as he accelerates the arranging and rearranging of globs of chemicals. Man is the master of his own destiny. He has destroyed any slender reed of credibility that had been given to metaphysical source of origins. All religions will have been consigned to the heap of invention of primitive man bereft of understanding.
As one Theistic Evolutionist once said "Jesus didn't have the scientific knowledge we now have!"
You foolish Anglicans! Who has bewitched you?
Can't you even see the true God when He has revealed so much of Himself to you? Reflect for a moment what was done to Ms Castillo to retrieve her stem cells. Doesn't it take your mind back to the Genesis 2 incident when God created woman in the first place. God put Adam to sleep and took one of his ribs. Why? Because within the marrow of Adam's rib were his XY chromosomes. All God had to do was remove the Y chromosome and what happens? The X chromosome repeats itself and there you have woman - Eve. Additionally, if God, when removing Adam's rib, 'peeled' it out of the periosteum and left the periosteum intact then Adam's rib would have regrown.
The aforesaid criticism of Theistic Evolutionism is a simplistic observation but remains the valid vacuum Theistic Evolutionists will find themselves in.
On a greater level, stem cell research and manipulation makes it abundantly clear that life is much more than a minute glob of chemicals - despite the contention of Darwinists that life arose from the latter base ingredients.
The DNA that rides on stem cells is an ordered information system - a code for life - the genetic code. A fixity of code that makes it possible for researchers to conclude prospects for success in Ms Castillo's case. Had there not been any fixity, had there only been prospects of randomness then what would be the hope of pursuing this operation? Darwinism's key foundation is randomness. The genetic code is ordered to a certain fixity - it does allow variation within a kind - and it is why women don't give birth to crocodiles or other species.
When have you ever seen a coded system (ie information system) arise without an intelligent mind behind it? eg Morse Code, Rosetta Stone, music score, language, computer software/hardware and building plans. How much more then is it necessary for a super mind to be behind the genetic code for all living things?
Whoever heard or saw an intelligent mind purposely order through a process of redundancies? Yet such is what Theistic Evolutionists attribute to their creator. To these I say consider what the Lord Jesus Christ was doing when turning water into good quality wine in an instant through only a thought. Consider also the feeding of the 5,000 and the 4,000. Behold here is your Creator! In Him all things hold together (Col. 1:17).
You Theistic Evolutionists need to consider very carefully what you are doing. The creator you present to the world is not the true Creator. What you are doing is degrading Jesus Christ.
You are there among those who spat on the Lord Jesus Christ when He was under assault from the world.

Neil,
Good post. But I am afraid you still don't get it. The SADs actually believe that any state of affairs shows the love, skill and wisdom of God, including even non-biblical ones. Therefore, because evolution is true, we must understand that even death and misery and suffering are wonderful things. Polkinghorne, who was invited by the SADs to contaminate the Gospel with his leaven here several years ago, believes death and struggle are goods.
Go figure that madness!
Strange that that they believe what they believe.
Both Christians and non-Christians I have encountered are not able to offer any real evidence of evolution taking place. Their reply when put to the test resorts to a "just so" explanation.
Variation within a species is NOT evolution.

Neil thanks for your piece.
A couple of months wandering about the backblocks of La France has cleared my mind,I believe. I read God's word and prayed but did not read one line of T/E turgid prose, so my mind recovered! I read nothing written by T/E's, or their first cousins the evolutionists.
Away from their convoluted subtleties the clouds began to rise. Praise God for that!
This time of 'retreat' reinforced for me the simplicity of the Genesis account. Not the simplicity of God's mechanisms (which I am sure no human comprehends)but the simplicity with which He describes this once only megga event. So clear and understandable as compared to the convoluted reasonings of some of the AN's.
I read Genesis one again, and again, and its account of creation (its historicity and simplicity reinforced by Jesus and the apostels) is so contrary to the contrived gloomy ducking and weaving of the AngloNasties.
The very idea of theistic evolution is rejected by Scripture. Consider Jeremiah 32:27 'Behold,I am the Lord, is anything too difficult for me?' Apparently, if our Anglo mates are correct there are at least two things too difficult for the Lord. Firstly He was unable to create by His spoken word in six-days as He clearly says. Six day ceation being reinforced by Exodus 20: 8-11.
Secondly He apparently can't tell the truth as in their story He took untold eons to create. What else did He lie about?
This brings to mind Jesus' words- if I tell you of earthly things and you don't believe, then how will you believe when I tell you of heavenly things. How indeed Mr T/E?
Regarding the feeding of the 5000 maybe they died waiting for the food, the Lord not being able to create then and there. Only joking!
Once again thanks for your blog Neil.
Warwick,
Your mention of the feeding of the 5,000 recalls a point made by that late and illustrious Creationist A.E. Wilder-Smith (3 earned PhDs in biochemistry) who after discussing how wasteful theistic evolution is, stated how Christ made the disciples pick up the leftovers after feeding the crowd. How incongruous for the Creator to tell his followers to pick up scraps but think it alright to waste trillions of living things' lives, if the SADs' story about God using evolution is true.
Just as you say Sam, I have not found anyone present a solid case for evolution.
BTW has anyone noticed Paul Willis of the ABC Catalyst program? He now has this growth of facial hair resembling that of Charles Darwin. I presume he wants to mimic his hero in the lead up to the festivities planned to commemorate the birth date and publishing of Charles Darwin's theory on the origin of species.
I saw Paul Willis in debate with a Creationist a couple of years ago and Paul Willis got flogged.

John
That's a good point. Jesus is the Creator (John 1:1-3), and creation is supposed to reflect the creators attributes so clearly that people are without excuse (Rom. 1:18-32). Yet the SADs would have the extremely wasteful and cruel process of evolution as the means of creation. Then they wonder why many atheists want nothing to do with their counterfeit creator.
BTW, Neil's post is yet another example of the successes of adult stem cell research, and by implication the fraud of embryonic stem cell research that has yet to produce a cure. CMI discusses this in detail at Stem cells and Genesis.
John thank you for your comment about the feeding of the five thousand. I have always thought it interesting that Jesus commanded the disciples to pick up the leftovers.
However until now I had never connected it to the wastefulness of evolution, supposedly also controlled by Jesus the Creator. Wastefulness just isn't consistent with Him is it. However wouldn't T/E's say that evolution controlled by the creator would not be wasteful though?
What always amazes me about the various opponents who bob up here is that they will not see the direct connection between the 7-day creation week and the 7-day week for living as detailed in Exodus 20. They evade the obvious even though the Lord directly links the two separate weeks in the one paragraph. It is obvious that the 6 days of our week are exactly the same (earth rotation days) as the six days of creation.
This only shows me how devious or blinded some SydAngs are. I lost respect for them because of this. I have to accept that some have simply, uncritically, accepted what their 'leaders' have taught them, therefore are deceived themselves.
The second thing is their rejection of what Jesus said about man being made at the beginning of creation-Matthew 19:4-6 & Mark 10:5-8. Some tried to evade the obvious by saying that day six is not the beginning. They claim Jesus was saying man was made at the beginning of creation week when He was saying they were made at the beginning of the creation, that in which we live. Matthew and Mark were using 'creation' this way, the same way as Paul does, four times in Romans ch. 8:19-22. Six days in relation to 4,000 years will do me for 'at the beginning.'
This surely puts paid to any long ages ideas. However one T/E confidently informed me that Jesus was only a man of His time and didn't know what really happened in the beginning! This from a man who demands I consider him a Christian! It is therefore very relevant what Jesus said, as recorded in John 3:12 'I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe when I speak of heavenly things?' If you don't believe what Jesus said about creation is historical reality what hypocricy it is to insist that what He says about forgiveness/salvation/eternal life is reality. Do the SydAng T/E's actually believe in physical forgiveness/salvation/eternal life or do they say it is simply some spititual thing? Do they believe Jesus physically rose from the dead? Comments please.
Commentators on this site vigorously defend the integrity of the Word of God and are therefore at serious odds with compromisers within Sydney Anglicanism. This does not mean that we wish toward our adversaries.
With this in mind we wish Bishop Rob Forsyth a speedy and full recovery from the heart attack he is reported to have suffered most recently.
We genuinely hope that his time remaining in this world will afford him opportunity to know far better, his Creator, Lord and Saviour.
Neil
Correction. Insert the word "harm" between "wish" and "toward" in paragraph one.
Neil
Warwick, they may say they believe in a physical resurrection but their inconsistency in the way they regard clear historical citing by the Lord Jesus Christ leaves compromisers and particularly their hearers vulnerable to believing only a spiritual resurrection.
Neil
Neil,
Are you saying that the SAD is reaching out to Brooklyn NY?
John, I am not saying that but since you raise the question note the Diocese has reached into other Diocese' in Autralia.
Neil
I don't know if I was too vague, Neil, but I was meaning the JWs (i.e. their headquarters in NY) and their belief in a spiritual resurrection only.
John, now I see what you mean and I can understand your linking the two. You never know, after all, the Sydney Anglican Diocese is prepared to jettison the Word of God in Genesis in a vain attempt to win people. Perhaps they are prepared to also jettison a bodily resurrection and God in the Person of Jesus Christ in an attempt to win JWs.
Neil
Yes, Neil, while I can't see it happening while Jensen is calling the shots, it could happen later on. Because he has ALREADY removed the basis for taking the parts of the Bible that should be taken literally (i.e. dehistoricising Genesis 1, Exodus 20 & 31), he has laid the foundation for people to accept just about anything, including rejecting the bodily resurrection of Christ. This is nothing incredible because various SAD bishops and clergy already are outspoken in their denial of other miraculous events.
The SADs think they're invulnerable to the same wordly philosophies that have diseased other denominations. Old Nick has a way of using spiritual pride and a sense of superiority against you in areas you least expect.
As the saying goes "what goes around comes around." A succession of Archbishops of Canterbury with dodgy theology has contributed to the Church of England in England floundering.
The slide is on in Sydney Anglican circles so "watch this space."
